Tony winner Ali Stroker and Noah Zachary will lead Theresa Rebeck's Downstairs at ARC Stages. The production celebrates the company's 10th anniversary and will run September 10 at 7PM. Tickets are free, but reservations are encouraged.

Directed by David Perlow, the show follows siblings Irene and Teddy as they grapple with a troubled family history while in a less-than-ideal living situation—Teddy is crashing in Irene's unfinished basement, much to the dismay of her husband.

The play previously ran at New York City's Cherry Lane Theatre in 2018.

Ali Stroker got her start as a finalist of The Glee Project Season 2, a reality show competition which had several performers vying for a guest spot on the popular Fox musical comedy series Glee. She was awarded a guest appearance on the series in the Season 4 episode “I Do” as the niece of school counselor Emma Pillsbury. Stroker whe went on to star on Broadway in Deaf West’s Spring Awakening revival and as Ado Annie in the 2019 revival of Oklahoma!—a role which earned her a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

ARC Stages' 2022-2023 season continues with The Great Leap by Lauren Yee and The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? by Edward Albee.
