Nominations for the 12th Annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards have been revealed. The honors, which have been awarded since 2011, recognize the best in commercial and non-profit Off-Broadway productions in six competitive categories. Winners will be named May 31 and celebrated in a ceremony at Sardi's June 20.

The awards also present non-competitive honors. Actor Alison Fraser, Theater Breaking Through Barriers Artistic Director Nicholas Viselli, and publicist David Rothenberg will receive this year's Legend of Off Broadway Awards, while Primary Stages Artistic Director Andrew Leynse, playwright Robert Patrick, and press agent Susan L. Schulman will be inducted into the Off Broadway Hall of Fame. Director-choreographer and Open Jar Studios owner Jeff Whiting is receiving the Friend of Off Broadway Award.
