The Little Foxes

The Little Foxes

Two extraordinary actresses return to Manhattan Theatre Club in a vibrant new production of Lillian Hellman’s The Little Foxes. In a thrilling coup, three-time Tony Award-nominee Laura Linney (Time Stands Still, Sight Unseen) and Tony-winner Cynthia Nixon (Rabbit Hole, Wit) alternate playing the roles of Regina and Birdie in Lillian Hellman’s legendary play about greed and ambition. The actresses play the roles in repertory, appearing opposite each other at each performance. Tony winner Daniel Sullivan (Proof, Rabbit Hole) directs.

SYNOPSIS: Southern belle Regina Giddens and her brothers scheme to outwit Regina's husband Horace, who opposes their attempts to profit from a cotton factory in partnership with a Chicago businessman, in Lillian Hellman's look at the power of money to destroy lives.
