SYNOPSIS: With the addition of a new first act, Albee’s groundbreaking first play, The Zoo Story (1959), becomes a full-length evening of theatre.
An unassuming man, Peter is simply looking for a quiet place to read his book. In Act 1, Homelife, he is interrupted by his wife, Ann, who wants to talk about the stuff of life—spinach, cats, kids, marriage, sex and mortality. In Act 2, The Zoo Story, we find Peter in Central Park, where a menacing stranger wants to take over his bench.
