Seeking AEA and non-AEA Performers for the Role of Eric/Phantom in Maury Yeston's Phantom
Seeking AEA and non-AEA performers for the role of Eric/Phantom in our upcoming production of Maury Yeston's "Phantom." The show runs Nov 17-Dec 10 at the historic Downtown Cabaret Theatre in downtown Bridgeport, CT, now celebrating its 42nd season.
Rehearsals will begin on or around October 23rd. All rehearsals will take place at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre, which is a 75-minute ride on the New Haven line of Metro North out of Grand Central. Rehearsals generally take place Mon-Thurs 6:30-10pm and Sundays 5-9pm. Performances take place Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 5pm and 8:15pm, and Sundays at 6pm, with some Thursday evenings at 7:30pm.
AEA performers will be on a Tier II Guest Artist contract.
PHANTOM/ERIC (Male 20s/30s) Elegant, charming, and yet deeply distrubed. He has lived his entire life in the Opera House. He is obsessed with Christine, which leads him on a path of revenge and murder in her name. Seeking an actor/singer with depth- able to portray both vulnerability and terrifying anger. Legit baritone. Any ethnicity.

Callbacks will take place at the Downtown Cabaret in Bridgeport, CT on the evening of Thursday, August 31st. Those unable to attend callbacks may do a video submission of the callback material.
