DESCRIPTION

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre's Annual Festival of New Musicals seeks volunteers for their 30th Annual Festival of New Musicals! Please join us for this fun-filled event.

Every fall, about 700 Industry Professionals from around the world gather at the NAMT Festival to preview what is next for musical theatre. Over two days, the industry can see eight 45-minute presentations of new musicals, a songwriter’s showcase, and four cabarets, but not without your help!

Festival volunteers are asked to help us load-in and load-out of our spaces and greet Festival guests, while guiding them to the correct performance spaces. In return, all volunteers will be able to see select presentations presentations (normally open to professional industry guests only) and meet with some of the Festival team to learn more about the behind-the-scenes work at a post-Festival thank you reception.

This year’s Festival will be October 25 and 26 at New World Stages, and we are looking for volunteers for the following dates:
Friday, October 19 11:00AM - Office Load-Out
Monday, October 22 7:00AM or 8:00AM - Festival Load-In and Office Load Out
Thursday, October 25 8:30AM or 1:00PM - Festival Volunteering
Monday, October 29 11:00AM - Festival Load-Out

Please email festival@namt.org with interest and inquiries, or sign up to volunteer at namt.org/about/jobs/. Learn more about the Festival at namt.org/festivals/2018.
