Marketing/Editorial Intern

The Broadway.com and BroadwayBox editorial and marketing teams seek an enthusiastic, independent and organized young professional to be our Marketing/Editorial intern for the summer. The intern will work hand-in-hand with our marketing and advertising sales team to develop, implement and analyze various entertainment marketing strategies as well as pitching, writing and providing production support for the Broadway.com editorial team’s many features, videos and photo shoots. At Broadway.com/BroadwayBox, you will work directly with various departments, companies and clients of Broadway productions. Our offices are located in midtown Manhattan.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop meaningful partnership and promotional opportunities
• Write clean, snappy copy for news and features, photo captions and more
• Collect and analyze data from marketing initiatives
• Perform market analysis and research on various competitors
• Assist with photo and video shoots
• Proofreading, basic copyediting and general editorial support

Preferred Experience
• Currently enrolled or recent graduate in a related degree program (Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, Advertising, Sales, Business, PR, Hospitality, etc.)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and client service skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and responsibilities
• Creative and analytical skills
• Go-getter and team-oriented individual with a professional demeanor
