Moscow Ballet seeks a talented and energetic Lighting Director for its 25th Anniversary Great Russian Nutcracker Tour.
Lighting Director will be responsible for loading in lights and running performances of Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker tour. The tour will visit theatrical venues throughout North America with extreme variation in technical specifications. The qualified candidate will be well-versed in ETC consoles and moving and conventional fixtures of all types. Specifically, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of lighting theatrical stage events and ballet/dance performances. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience directing local union crews in rig installation and removal.
Lighting Director will aid Production Manager with load ins and outs on a daily basis.
Lighting Director will manage local crews by calling the order of cases to be loaded onto the semi-truck at the end of each performance.
Moscow Ballet’s North American Great Russian Nutcracker tour is a challenging and rewarding engagement, lasting from November 1 through December 31, 2017. The tour will load in, perform, and load out of a new city every day.
Candidate must have valid passport and be able to enter Canada.
Must have experience trouble shooting moving lights and networks.
