About the position:
The Holiday Sales Associates will sell stuffed dolls, doll clothing and children’s clothing at our holiday booths at the Union Square and Grand Central Markets.
Associates act as the face of the company to hundreds of shoppers each year. Each Associate will be responsible for either opening or closing the booth, including tidying up the display, reconciling the register, and refreshing the inventory. They will communicate with customers, answer questions about the products and promote special items such as our gift bundles and limited edition outfits.
Reports to the COO and will be in regular contact with the Inventory Manager.
Outgoing, friendly, and cheerful personality.
Able to learn the product line in detail and recommend products with ease.
1+ years of sales experience, including experience working towards sales goals.
Comfortable handling cash and processing credit cards using an iPad or phone.
Punctual and reliable.
This is a full time temporary position, 40 hours/week from November weekend hours are required. Availability Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas Eve is preferred.
The term of this job is November 11 - December 24, with training held in early November.
Compensation is $20/hr plus 2% commission.
