Job description

Broadway Licensing seeks an intern interested in a hands-on experience in the realm of producing new works. This highly interactive internship aims to provide actual producing experience, the development of plays and musicals, and an opportunity to participate in our daily operations as we partner with theaters and playwrights. An appreciation of theater and an enthusiasm for new works is a plus.

We're looking for energetic, self-motivated and responsible individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and an ability to multitask.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with standard word processing, email, and web browsing software
  • Recent graduate or working on a related degree focused on theater administration or production

A stipend is provided for part-time internships ($20/day), and the experience is eligible for course credit at most schools. Ideal commitment is 2-3 days a week. Minimum length of internship is 3 months, with a start date in early May.

Please send a cover letter, resume, and a brief literary analysis of a play you've read or seen, focusing on the aspects of the production (approximately 200 words) to hr@broadwaylicensing.com by Sunday, 4/22/18.
