Job description
Broadway Licensing seeks an intern interested in a hands-on experience in the realm of producing new works. This highly interactive internship aims to provide actual producing experience, the development of plays and musicals, and an opportunity to participate in our daily operations as we partner with theaters and playwrights. An appreciation of theater and an enthusiasm for new works is a plus.
Key responsibilities
The Playscripts internship will provide support to the producing team. Duties may include copying manuscripts, researching projects, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
We're looking for energetic, self-motivated and responsible individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and an ability to multitask.
Requirements:
A stipend is provided for part-time internships ($20/day), and the experience is eligible for course credit at most schools. Ideal commitment is 2-3 days a week. Minimum length of internship is 3 months, with a start date in early May.
