Assistant Stage Manager / Spotlight Operator

DESCRIPTION

Astoria Performing Arts Center is seeking BOTH an Assistant Stage Manager and Spotlight Operator for its production of FOLLIES by James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim, which runs from May 3 – 26, 2018 at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (30-44 Crescent St, Astoria). 

ASM position may begin on April 26 – our first spacing rehearsal – but earlier availability, beginning with our designer run on April 21, would be preferred. ASM will be paid a travel stipend of $200

Spotlight Operator position will begin on April 27. Spotlight Operator will be paid a travel stipend of $200

Both ASM and Spotlight Op must be available for all tech rehearsals and performances. ASM must also be available for a mini-strike that happens after every Saturday evening performance and pre-set before every Thursday evening performance (either Tuesday or Wednesday eve - TBD).

Tech is April 27 (6 – 11pm), April 28 (2:30 – 10:30pm), April 29 (3 – 11pm), May 1 (6 – 11pm), May 2 (6 – 11pm)

Performances run May 3 – 26, Thurs – Sat at 8pm and Sat at 2pm.
