Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Sales and Guest Service
•Assist in management of sales programs to exceed budgeted sales goals at each performance
•Analyze sales trends to create and implement new promotions & incentives to maximize sales and inventory
•Maintain an environment which facilitates guests’ needs and meet and/or exceed their expectation of service
•Work with Retail Manager to develop merchandising displays at theatre merchandise locations to maximize sales
•Create, implement and maintain sales contests to consistent drive sales throughout the year
•Manage guest concerns, suggestions, comments and channel them up to the corporate merchandise team accordingly
•Partner with Senior Retail Manager, Director of Merchandise and other members of the corporate retail team to implement new selling methods and product development
•Work with sales associates to resolve discrepancies with inventory and/or cash.
•Responsible for inventory tracking, reporting and stock maintenance
•Audits of register floats, reports, inventory on a consistent basis at all selling locations
•Assist Retail Manager with overall inventory control and receipt for merchandise being received in/out
•Assist in management of all cash deposits, credit cards and safe funds
•Partner with Merchandise's Senior Finance Analyst to track and monitor all store expenses including freight and labor
•Assist Senior Retail Manager and Retail Manager of reporting & presenting weekly & quarterly sales results
•Manage all part-time sales associates and senior lead sales associates on a daily, quarterly and annual performance basis
•Assist in the hiring and completion of new hire packages
•Assist with the recruiting and training of new sales associates.
•Assist with the maintenance of sales associates & senior lead sales associates personnel files.
•Create and maintain a positive and safe working environment on a performance basis
•Manage the reward and recognition program for onsite retail staff
•Responsible for sales associates & senior lead sales associates motivation and discipline on a performance basis
•Maintain display kiosks, equipment and materials
•Maintain a solid working relationship with Theatre Management
•All other duties as necessary and/or assigned by the Retail Manager
•All duties that may be required in the absence of the Retail Manager
The ideal candidates will have 3+ years of retail management experience. All applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Candidates should be detail oriented team players with superior communication, organization and conflict resolution skills. Theater and entertainment experience/interest is desired but not necessary.
