DESCRIPTION

Assistant director/ASM needed for Doctors Jane and Alexander, performing at HERE Theater Jan 24 - Feb 16. A play about the playwright's mother and grandfather (who discovered the Rh Factor in blood).  A mixture of verbatim text and invented dialogue.  Recipient of a Sloane Grant for plays on a scientific subject from Ensemble Studio Theater.

Untitled Theater Company No. 61 (www.untitledtheater.com) is a Theater of Ideas: scientific, political, philosophical, and above all theatrical.  We have been producing Off- and Off-Off-Broadway for 25 years.  Our last show at HERE, the Marriage of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein, was a Critic's Pick from the New York Times and will be playing this Spring in London Off-West End.

The play contains a number of musical numbers, so experience in that area is helpful but not necessary.  There may also be some limited help needed keeping the show going during the run.
