Everyone in the ensemble must dance. please only attend if you have extensive dance, especially ballet training. Jerry must be an incredible dancer - Ballet, Tap, Jazz and should sing.

[JERRY MULLIGAN] Male, 21-32. Superb dancer. Good singer.  A GI who remains in Paris at the end of WWII. An artist. Charming and something of an “innocent”in a complicated world.

[MALE ENSEMBLE] 21 to 35 years old, all ethnicities male. seeking superb male dancers. Dancers with Extensive Ballet Training including partnering work, Tap and Jazz. Good Singing is ideal but some tracks will not need to sing.

Story line: An American GI’s chance encounter with a beautiful young dancer leads Paris to become the backdrop to a sensuous, modern romance of art, friendship and love in the aftermath of war...

Male dancers and male dancers who Sing-sign up begins at 9 a.m. Be dressed and ready to learn a ballet combination and dance in groups of three. Wardrobe: Appropriate dance clothes. No baggy clothing and no hats. Ballet slippers, tap shoes, jazz shoes/sneakers. Singing of all levels (or lack thereof) welcome. For singers: be prepared to sing a traditional musical song (Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hart, Jerome Kern are all excellent choices for this show), but any musical theatre “Golden Age” song is great. Bring Sheet music in the correct key that you sing the song in. Production wants everyone who can sing (even a little) to try to sing. For Jerry, you can begin to learn his audition song "Beginner's Luck" which is attached, but also sing another song if you know that. (Jerry is the lead role, if you are only interested in ensemble, you do not need to work on this song).   Additonal callbacks could be later on Sept. 17-19. If you cannot attend this call,  but are available for callbacks send a dance reel and singing reel (if you have one) and include a photo and resume.  EMAIL to
