Long-time James Cameron collaborator Van Ling makes his directorial debut with Hollywood’s first movie about Greece’s War of Independence. Tania Raymonde heads a cast that also features Tony and Oscar winner Christopher Plummer, Billy Zane, and Raza Jaffrey.
In the film, conflicted Turkish colonel Tariq spares the life of 12-year-old Anna Christina. Years later, the two are reunited, but as the Ottoman empire continues its reign of terror, Anna is compelled to join the Greek rebellion and lead the fight against the man she loves.
