Tiki Barber, who played ten seasons for the New York Giants and was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in 2011, stepped into the role of Don in the Tony-winning Kinky Boots at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre January 18.
In the video above, watch the football great walk up the runway stairs in the final scene wearing the show’s signature, thigh-high boots. He subsequently takes a bow with two other stars of the show: Callum Francis, who stars as Lola, and Andy Kelso, who stars as Charlie Price. Both Francis and Kelso joined the cast January 11.
Barber continues in the role through March 3.

The winner of six 2013 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Boots features a Tony-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony winner Harvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell. The musical will play its final performance April 7.
