Video Watch the Trailer for Broadway's Beetlejuice Musical, Featuring Shrimp Monsters, Levitating Dancers, and Shrunken Heads The musical, now in previews at the Winter Garden Theatre, is based on Tim Burton's beloved 1988 dark comedy and includes several nods to the movie.

The Broadway musical adaptation of Beetlejuice has released a new trailer, showcasing some moments that may be familiar to fans of the movie. Check out the video above.

Highlights include appearances by unique characters in the afterlife waiting room, the mutant shrimp cocktails from the "Day-O" scene, Adam and Barbara’s attempts at ghost costume, and of course, Lydia’s levitating dance on the staircase.

The musical, now in previews, officially opens April 25. Alex Brightman stars in the title role alongside Sophie Anne Caruso as Lydia.

The Alex Timbers-helmed production also features Tony nominees Kerry Butler and Rob McClure as Barbara and Adam, Leslie Kritzer and Adam Dannheisser as Delia and Charles, and Kelvin Moon Loh as Otho.
