The final trailer for Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, released May 8, features a wide sampling of ABBA tunes to get audiences excited for the movie sequel. Check it out above to hear the cast's takes on such songs as "Waterloo", "Dancing Queen," and, as performed by Cher, "Fernando."
The sequel will use new songs and favorites heard in the original 2008 film adaptation of the musical sensation to tell two stories: the backstory of Donna Sheridan (Meryl Streep, her younger self played by Lily James), and what happens when her daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) prepares to welcome a child of her own.
Several members from the original movie's cast, including Seyfried, Streep, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, and Dominic Cooper, return for the sequel. Joining them are several new faces, including James, Cher, and stage favorite Jessica Keenan Wynn.The Universal picture will arrive in theatres July 20.
