Video Watch the Cast of Broadway's Come From Away Share What Pride Means to Them Caesar Samayoa, Tony LePage, Petrina Bromley, Astrid Van Wieren, and Joel Hatch discuss their personal connections to the LGBTQ+ community.

Love is all around on the stage of Come From Away every performance of the Tony-nominated musical. As worlds collide in a small town in Canada after 7,000 passengers are stranded when their planes are grounded, themes of love, acceptance, and hope emerge.

That same feeling created in the theatre each night is also there backstage, and is particularly resonant during Pride month. To celebrate Pride, Come From Away cast members Caesar Samayoa, Tony LePage, Petrina Bromley, Astrid Van Wieren, and Joel Hatch dropped by Playbill studios to share what Pride and the LGBTQ+ community mean to them.

Watch the video above and check out some of the Come From Away cast perform at Playbill’s Pride-themed Sing for Hope piano at Christopher Park below.
