Pretty Woman star Samantha Barks joined the show's composer, recording artist Bryan Adams, on the London leg of his U.K. tour last month to perform a song from the Broadway-bound new musical. Watch Barks, who stars as Vivian in the show, perform "I Can't Go Back" alongside Adams in the video above.

The performance was recorded live at London’s 02 Arena May 31.

Directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, Pretty Woman: The Musical will open at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre August 16 after beginning previews July 20. The show arrives on Broadway following a world premiere in Chicago, in which Barks played Vivian alongside Steve Kazee as Edward.

As previously reported, the role of Edward will be played on Broadway by three-time Tony Award nominee and Olivier Award winner Andy Karl. Joining them from the Chicago cast will be Orfeh as Kit, Eric Anderson as Mr. Thompson, Kingsley Leggs as James Morse, and Jason Danieley as Philip Stuckey.

Based on the 1990 romantic comedy, Pretty Woman features a book co-written by the film’s director, the late Garry Marshall, and screenwriter J.F. Lawton, and music by Grammy winner Adams and Jim Vallance.

Completing the cast on Broadway will be Allison Blackwell, Tommy Bracco, Brian Calì, Robby Clater, Jessica Crouch, Nico DeJesus, Anna Eilinsfeld, Matt Farcher, Lauren Lim Jackson, Renée Marino, Ellyn Marie Marsh, Jillian Mueller, Jake Odmark, Jennifer Sanchez, Matthew Stocke, Alex Michael Stoll, Alan Wiggins, Jesse Wildman, and Darius Wright.

The production features scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Philip S. Rosenberg, sound design by John Shivers, hair design by Josh Marquette, music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Will Van Dyke, and casting by Telsey + Company.
