Watch New Music Video for Upcoming North American Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar

A new music video has been released for the forthcoming 50th Anniversary North American tour of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar. Take a look at the video, titled "Power & Glory," above.

The Olivier Award-winning staging, which premiered in 2016 at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in London, will launch at Austin’s Bass Concert Hall in October before playing over 70 markets throughout North America. Additional cities and casting for the tour will be announced during the coming months.

Helmed by Timothy Sheader and choreographer Drew McOnie, the production won the 2017 Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival, selling out two consecutive engagements in 2016 and 2017. Additional creative team members include set and costume designer Tom Scutt, lighting designer Lee Curran, and music supervisor Tom Deering.
