Tony winner Kelli O'Hara helped the Yankees kick off their first home game of the season April 3 with a performance of the national anthem at New York City's Yankee Stadium. The game, previously scheduled for April 2, was delayed because of the snowfall.
Watch O'Hara's performance below:
O'Hara currently sings the role of Despina in the Metropolitan Opera's Così fan tutte. Later this year, she'll reprise her Tony-winning performance as Anna Leonowens in the West End engagement of The King and I, and, in 2019, is scheduled to return to Broadway in Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Kiss Me, Kate.
Frozen star Patti Murin was also tapped to perform at Yankee Stadium but was unable to attend the re-scheduled event.
