21-time Tony winner Harold Prince talks about his creative process in this clip from the upcoming PBS documentary Harold Prince: The Director's Life, premiering November 23. Also featured is footage from early Sweeney Todd rehearsals and anecdotes from Sweeney Todd star Angela Lansbury. Watch the clip below.

Presented as part of PBS' Great Performances series, The Director's Life celebrates the career of producer and director, whose seven decades in the theatre ranges from golden age classics to modern blockbusters. Prince is the winner of the most Tony Awards of any individual, with a résumé that includes such shows as West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret, Company, Follies, Sweeney Todd, Evita, and The Phantom of the Opera.

Directed by Lonny Price, the new documentary includes newly-surfaced archival clips along with interviews with Prince's collaborators, including Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Mandy Patinkin, John Kander, Susan Stroman, and Angela Lansbury.

The Director's Life premieres November 23 at 9 PM ET on PBS and will be available to stream from PBS.org and through PBS apps beginning November 24.
