The Royal Ballet’s presentation of its Bernstein Centenary heads to movie theatres April 21–July 29, screening in major U.S. markets April 25 as part of the Royal Opera House's Cinema Series. Take a look at two premieres featured in the collection: “Yugen” (choreographed by Wayne McGregor) and “Corybantic Games” (by Tony winner Christopher Wheeldon) in the clips above and below, respectively.

“Yugen” is set to Bernstein’s choir piece “Chichester Psalms,” performed in Hebrew, while “Corybantic Games” features his “Serenade" (after Plato's Symposium). Performing in the latter are principal dancers Sarah Lamb, Alexander Campbell, Bennet Gartside, and Tristan Dyer.

The centenary celebration, which played the Royal Opera House earlier this spring, also features “The Age of Anxiety,” set to Bernstein’s “Symphony No. 2” and choreographed by Liam Scarlett.
