Original Hamilton star Christopher Jackson performed “Last Full Measure of Devotion“ at the 28th annual National Memorial Day Concert, which was broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on PBS May 28. Jackson's performance can be viewed above.

Emmy and Tony winner Laurence Fishburne and Tony winner Joe Mantegna hosted the 90-minute event. Auli’i Cravalho (Moana) opened the show with a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” which can be seen below.

The all-star line-up also included Grammy Award-winning opera star Renée Fleming, who is headed to Broadway in the revival of Carousel; multi-platinum recording artist and star of television, film, and the Broadway stage Vanessa Williams; country music performer Scotty McCreery; Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum-selling artist John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting; acclaimed actors John Ortiz and Ana Ortiz; Irish tenor Ronan Tynan; actor Robert Patrick; Tony-nominated actor Mary McCormack; and the U.K. artist Russell Watson. The performers were backed by the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of pops conductor Jack Everly.
