Classic Arts News Watch an Exclusive Clip From Bolshoi Ballet's Don Quixote Before It Leaps to Movie Theatres The production is the latest performance filmed from the Moscow company.

The Bolshoi Ballet's 2016 presentation of Dox Quixote heads to movie theatres across the United States December 2 as part of the Moscow company's Cinema Series, presented in partnership with Fathom Events. Ahead of its big screen leap, check out an exclusive clip, featuring Principal Dancers Ekaterina Krysanova and Semyon Chudin, above.

The Alexei Fadeyechev-choreographed production of Léon Minkus' ballet is the second in the 2018–2019 Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema Series, following November's screening of La Sylphide. Presentations of The Nutcracker, La Bayadère, The Sleeping Beauty, The Golden Age, and Carmen Suite/Petrushka will follow on subsequent Sundays through May 2019.

Also featured in the flamenco-laden ballet are Alexei Loparevich, Olga Smirnova, Anna Tikhomirova, and Kristina Karasyova.
