NBC Nightly News has shared a 360-degree video of selections from the 9/11-themed Broadway musical Come From Away. Take a look below at the show from all angles.
Nominated for seven 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Come From Away concerns the passengers of 38 planes, who were rerouted to Gander, Newfoundland (when U.S. airspace closed due to the September 11 terrorist attacks) and the citizens of that Canadian town. Come From Away emphasizes hope in the face of adversity and the goodwill of strangers.
Written by David Hein and Irene Sankoff, the musical is directed by Tony winnerChristopher Ashley and choreographed by Kelly Devine.
The show currently stars Petrina Bromley, Geno Carr, Jenn Colella, Joel Hatch, De'Lon Grant, Alex Finke, Chad Kimball, Lee MacDougall, Caesar Samayoa, Q. Smith, Astrid Van Wieren, and Sharon Wheatley.
