Watch 2019 Jimmy Award Nominees Sing ‘You Will Be Found’ With Dear Evan Hansen Star and 2018 Winner Andrew Barth Feldman | Playbill

Video Watch 2019 Jimmy Award Nominees Sing ‘You Will Be Found’ With Dear Evan Hansen Star and 2018 Winner Andrew Barth Feldman The 11th annual ceremony is held June 24.

Months after winning Best Performance by an Actor at the 2018 Jimmy Awards, Andrew Barth Feldman returned to the Broadway stage—this time to stay. At 16, he made his Broadway debut in the title role of Dear Evan Hansen. He continues his star turn at the Music Box Theatre, but he recently returned to his roots as a new class of Jimmy Award finalists prepare for their big night.

In the video above, Feldman leads a rendition of Dear Evan Hansen’s anthemic “You Will Be Found,” with Tony-winning orchestrator Alex Lacamoire at a specially made, Dear Evan Hansen-themed Sing for Hope piano. Joining them are the 86 high school students competing in the 11th annual ceremony June 24.

Fellow Evan Hansen Ben Platt hosts the ceremony, which will feature appearances by Feldman and Reneé Rapp, last year’s Best Performance by an Actress winner, who is also now starring on Broadway (as Regina George in Mean Girls).

“That feeling of theatre bringing people together very much applies to everything I’m doing now. Coming out of the Jimmys, all 80 of us became such a tight-knit family,” Feldman told Playbill earlier this year, recalling his own experience with the awards. “And that’s very much true of our cast. This is a show that brings people together, and we’re very much a community and family.”
