Theatre Royal Bath has announced additional casting details for its slate of summer productions.

The U.K. premiere of Christopher Durang’s Tony-winning comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike will feature Olivier Award winner Janie Dee, Michelle Asante, Aysha Kala, and Lewis Reeves. Performances run June 6–July 7.

Noël Coward’s Blithe Spirit, starring Absolutely Fabulous’ Jennifer Saunders, has added Simon Coates, Lisa Dillon, Howard Harrison, Emma Naomi, Lucy Robinson, Geoffrey Streatfeild, and Rose Wardlaw to its cast. Richard Eyre directs the June 14–July 6 run.

Olivier, Tony, and Academy Award winner Vanessa Redgrave will perform her solo play Vienna 1934–Munich 1938, which uses family notebooks, journals, memoirs, and poetry to trace the friendship between her father, actor Michael Redgrave, poet Stephen Spender, and German writer Thomas Mann. Redgrave has been workshopping the piece throughout the U.K. She is joined onstage by Daisy Bevan, Robert Boulter, and Paul Hilton. The Theatre Royal Bath engagement runs July 11–August 3.

The previously announced Rupert Everett-led Uncle Vanya will also feature Marty Cruickshank, John Light, Ann Mitchell, Katherine Parkinson, Clémence Poésy, and John Standing. Performances run July 18–August 3.
