Me The People: Fire and Fury Edition, a musical parody from one of the creators of Me The People: The Trump America Musical, will begin performances at The Laurie Beechman Theatre July 24, where it will continue to play through November, coinciding with the 2018 midterm elections. The production is partnering with several candidates across the nation for special fundraiser performances to help raise money and awareness for the upcoming vote.

Me The People: Fire and Fury Edition is a political satire that features a book and lyrics by Nancy Holson. The musical sets parody lyrics to familiar show tunes and pop songs.

Me The People: The Trump America Musical was created by Jim Russek and Holson and played a five-month Off-Broadway run at the Triad Theater in 2017. The show, while it was running, reacted in real time to events surrounding the White House.

The Fire and Fury Edition will bring the comedy up to date with real-life political events of the last year. Original Off-Broadway cast members Aiesha Dukes and Mia Weinberger will be joined by newcomers Ashley Leon, Joe Marx, Jimmy Robertson, and Vanessa Robinson.

Me The People: Fire and Fury Edition will feature musical direction and arrangements by James Higgins. David Rigano and Holson co-direct and Firenze Productions (Amy Holson-Schwartz) and Marc L. Bailin are attached as producers.

Me The People: The Trump America Musical was conceived by Holson, Jay Falzone, and Russek, who also produced. They are the same team behind the 2006 musical satire Bush Wars.
