As previously announced, the spring production at The Vineyard Theatre reunites the team behind the acclaimed Scottsboro Boys: composer John Kander, director and choreographer Susan Stroman, and playwright David Thompson.

The Beast in the Jungle delves into the mind and life of John Marcher, a man preoccupied by the belief that a great catastrophe awaits him. Adapted from Henry James’ novella of the same name, the story examines the meaning of life, as well as love, loneliness, and regret.

Performances will begin May 4 ahead of a May 23 opening night. Additional cast and creative team members will be announced at a later date.
