Two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone, most recently on Broadway in the musical War Paint, will guest star in an upcoming episode of CBS' Mom.
According to Entertinment Weekly, LuPone will play Rita, a newly divorced woman who becomes the owner of the building managed by Bonnie (I, Tonya Oscar winnerAllison Janney).
The episode is scheduled to air in April.
A Tony winner for her performances in Evita and Gypsy, LuPone's recent TV appearances include My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Penny Dreadful, as well as the 2018 Grammy Awards. She will return to the London stage this fall in a gender-switched revival of Stephen Sondheim's Company,
