Film & TV News Tony Winner Katrina Lenk Lands Recurring Role on NBC’s The Village The new series, also featuring Tony nominee Hailey Kilgore, is set to make its debut in March 2019.

Katrina Lenk, a Tony winner for her performance in the Tony-winning Best Musical The Band's Visit, has landed a recurring role in the forthcoming NBC series The Village, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The drama, about a close group of Brooklyn apartment dwellers, is set to premiere March 12, 2019. Lenk will play Claire; character details are being kept under wraps.

Also previously announced, Hailey Kilgore, a Tony nominee for Once On This Island, will also appear in the series. The cast additionally includes Moran Atias, Dominic Chianese, Warren Christie, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Daren Kasagoff, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, and Grace Van Dien.

The series was created by Mike Daniels, who executive produces with Jessica Rhoades and Minkie Spiro, who directed the pilot.

Lenk has been seen on TV's The Good Fight and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Her additional stage credits include Indecent, Once, and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.
