Broadway favorite Annaleigh Ashford has been cast as the lead of ABC’s new single-camera comedy pilot Three Rivers, according to Variety.

Ashford will play Rebecca, a woman who returns to her family’s Texas ranch after working in the hospitality business in New York. Now, she plans to use the know-how she gained in the Big Apple to reboot the ranch and make it a vacation destination—much to her siblings’ chagrin.

Ashford currently plays Elizabeth Cote on American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace and has a recurring role as Betty DiMello on Showtime’s Master of Sex. In 2016, she played the role of Columbia in the made-for-TV remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again.

Ashford was last seen on Broadway in Sunday in the Park With George. Prior to that, she appeared on the Main Stem alongside Matthew Broderick in Sylvia. She won a Tony Award for her performance in You Can’t Take It With You in 2015 and was Tony-nominated for originating the role of Lauren in Kinky Boots. She replaced as Jeanie in the 2009 revival of Hair and as Glinda in Wicked. Ashford made her Broadway debut as Margot in Legally Blonde The Musical, also captured for television by MTV.
