The upcoming Signature Theatre revival of Will Eno's Thom Pain (based on nothing) has extended its Off-Broadway run. Set to begin October 23, the staging will now run through December 2 (instead of the initially announced November 25) at the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
Golden Globe winner and stage veteran Michael C. Hall (Lazarus, Dexter) will star in the Oliver Butler-helmed production. The 2004 monologue play follows a man who desperately, and hilariously, tries to save his own life—or at least make it into something worth dying for.
The production will feature sets by Amy Rubin, costumes by Anita Yavich, lighting design by Jen Schriever, and sound design by Lee Kinney.
Opening night is set for November 11.
