Patina Miller, Sutton Foster, Skylar Astin, Hailey Kilgore, Sierra Boggess, and more will be part of the July performances.

Tamyra Gray and Rebecca Spencer have joined the cast for the Hollywood Bowl’s summer production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into the Woods, to be presented July 26–28.

Gray, most recently on Broadway in the revival of Once On This Island, will play Granny/Cinderella's Mother, and Jekyll and Hyde alum Spencer has been cast as Jack's Mother. Also new to the company: Edward Hibbert (Frasier) as the Narrator and Edelyn Okano as Cinderella’s Stepmother.

They join the previously announced Patina Miller as the Witch, Gaten Matarazzo as Jack, Shanice Williams as Little Red Riding Hood, Sutton Foster as The Baker's Wife, Skylar Astin as The Baker, Hailey Kilgore as Rapunzel, Sierra Boggess as Cinderella, Chris Carmack as Rapunzel's Prince, Anthony Crivello as Mysterious Man, and Cheyenne Jackson as Cinderella's Prince/The Wolf.

EGOT winner Whoopi Goldberg lends her talent to the production as the voice of the Giant.

Tony nominee Robert Longbottom (Flower Drum Song, Side Show) will direct and choreograph the limited engagement with musical direction by conductor Kevin Stites.

Casting is by Binder Casting/Chad Eric Murnane.

Recent musicals at the Hollywood Bowl include Annie, starring Ana Gasteyer, David Alan Grier, Megan Hilty, and Lea Salonga, directed by Michael Arden; Mamma Mia!, starring Jennifer Nettles, Jamie Camil, Dove Cameron, and Corbin Bleu, directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall; and A Chorus Line, starring Mario Lopez, Krysta Rodriguez, and Ross Lynch, directed and choreographed by Baayork Lee.
