Take a sneak peek at the new, high-intensity stage adaptation of A Clockwork Orange, which arrived Off-Broadway earlier this month following acclaimed runs in London and around the world. The all-male staging hails from Action to the Word, a U.K.-based theatre group that presents radical interpretations of classics.

Based on Anthony Burgess’ 1962 novel that also inspired the ground-breaking 1971 Stanley Kubrick film, A Clockwork Orange is set in a dystopian British society and follows ultra-violent teen Alex, his band of “Droogs.”

The show is set to officially open September 25 at New World Stages, where it is scheduled to run through January 6, 2018. Alexandra Spencer-Jones directs.
