Following a recent two-and-a-half-year run on Broadway, the 25th anniversary production of Les Misérables will once again tour North America. Performances are set to begin September 21 at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Rhode Island.

Directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell, the production of Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil’s musical began in 2009 as a 25th anniversary staging in the U.K. before playing myriad locations around the world and touring the U.S. After a two-year tour and a five-month engagement in Toronto, the production opened in March 2014 at Broadway’s Imperial Theatre, where it ran for over 1,000 performances.
