Charles Busch returned to Theater for the New City April 4 in his new comedy The Confession of Lily Dare.

Directed by longtime collaborator Carl Andress (The Tribute Artist, Judith of Bethulia, The Divine Sister), the production runs through April 29 at Theater for the New City’s Johnson Theater.

Joining Busch as Lily Dare are Nancy Anderson (Sunset Boulevard), Christopher Borg (Judith of Bethulia), Kendal Sparks (Judith of Bethulia), Howard McGillin (The Phantom of the Opera), and, in her eighth Busch/Andress production, Jennifer Van Dyck (Cleopatra, Judith of Bethulia, The Divine Sister, The Third Story).

The production features scenic and graphic design by B.T. Whitehill, costume design by Rachel Townsend (with costumes for Busch by Jessica Jahn), lighting design by Kirk Bookman, sound design by Bart Fasbender, and wig design by Katherine Carr.
