Three-time Tony recipient Bernadette Peters, who recently succeeded fellow Tony winner Bette Midler in the title role of Broadway's Hello, Dolly!, will be a guest on CBS' The Late Show with Stephen Colbert February 5.
Peters will discuss her return to Broadway as well as her work on Amazon's Mozart in the Jungle, which premieres its fourth season February 16.
The Late Show airs at 11:35 PM ET; check local listings.
Peters played her first performance as matchmaker Dolly Gallagher Levi January 20 at the Shubert Theatre.
Peters was last on Broadway in the revivals of Follies and A Little Night Music. She won Tony Awards for her performances in Song & Dance and Annie Get Your Gun and received an honorary award in 2012 for her humanitarian contributions with the organization Broadway Barks, which she co-founded with the Mary Tyler Moore. She has also starred on Broadway in Gypsy, Mack & Mabel, On the Town, Sunday in the Park with George, The Goodbye Girl, and the original production of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods.'
