Broadway News Springsteen on Broadway Opens October 12 The intimate solo concert from Grammy-Award-winning rock icon Bruce Springsteen is playing an extended run through February 2018.

Springsteen on Broadway, an intimate solo concert from 20-time Grammy Award-winning rock legend Bruce Springsteen, officially opens on Broadway October 12 at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Performances began October 3.

Springsteen will perform five shows a week during the run that was recently extended through February 3, 2018.

The musician will offer an up-close and personal evening that loosely follows that arc of his life and work. “My show is just me, the guitar, the piano and the words and music. Some of the show is spoken, some of it is sung. It loosely follows the arc of my life and my work. All of it together is in pursuit of my constant goal to provide an entertaining evening and to communicate something of value,” says Springsteen.

Producers also announced that a limited amount of $75 lottery tickets will be available for every performance of Springsteen on Broadway via a digital lottery.

The creative team includes Heather Wolensky (scenic design), Natasha Katz (lighting design), and Brian Ronan (sound design).

Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program. Additional performance times and ticketing information for the extension will be announced shortly.
