Mykal Kilgore will return to SubCulture as the special guest for Jason Robert Brown’s upcoming residency concert December 17 at 8PM. His return to the venue also marks the fourth anniversary of Brown’s ongoing artistic residency at the downtown club.

Kilgore was a part of the company of Brown's Songs for a New World at New York City Center's Encores! Off-Center series and will be heard on the composer's new recording of the song cycle.

“I’m all set to ring in the holidays this year with one of the most explosively talented singers I’ve ever met, the unstoppable Mykal Kilgore, and a choir filled with some of my favorite voices in New York, singing insane arrangements of holiday standards, JRB classics, and new and weird tunes—all accompanied by my favorite musicians on Earth,” said Brown in a statement.
