Off-Broadway News Somebody’s Daughter Opens June 6 Chisa Hutchinson’s new play debuts Off-Broadway in a production from Second Stage Theatre.

The world premiere of Chisa Hutchinson’s play Somebody’s Daughter officially opens June 6 at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre as part of Second Stage Theatre’s 2017 Uptown Series. Three generations of women find their identity in question in the new play, which sees a Chinese-American guidance counselor help a protégé deal with gender bias.

Directed by May Adrales, the production has been extended and is scheduled to run through June 25. Performances began May 23.

The cast is made up of Vanessa Kai, Collin Kelly-Sordelet, Michelle Heera Kim, Rodney Richardson, David Shih, and Jeena Yi.
