Performances of Cruel Intentions: The Musical will kick off November 17 at (le) Poisson Rouge, marking the show’s official return after a sold-out pop-up run at the venue earlier this year. A hybrid of a rock concert mixed with a musical, the show features immersive staging and many of the songs that made the film so iconic.

In the video above, watch the company offer a sneak peek at the show’s closing number (The Verve’s “Bitter Sweet Symphony”).

Below, Lauren Zakrin, who plays Kathryn, and Constantine Rousouli, who plays Sebastian, perform Christina Aguilera’s “Genie in a Bottle:”

Cruel Intentions: The Musical is adapted from Roger Kumble’s cult ‘90s film. The show is created by Jordan Ross, Lindsey Rosin, and Roger Kumble and features stage direction by Rosin, choreography by Jennifer Weber, and music direction and arrangements by Zach Spound.

Completing the cast are Jessie Shelton (Hadestown) as Cecile, Alex Boniello (Spring Awakening) as Blaine, Brian Muller (The Good Wife) as Greg, Matthew Griffin (The New Yorkers at Encores!) as Ronald, and Patricia Richardson (Home Improvement) as Mrs. Caldwell.
