The company of The Prom, the new musical from Chad Beguelin, Bob Martin, and Matthew Sklar, celebrated their 100th performance on Broadway with cake and photos February 12. The production, directed and choreographed by Tony winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon), began performances October 23 at the Longacre Theatre ahead of a November 15 opening.

The Prom stars Tony winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Tony nominees Brooks Ashmanskas (Something Rotten) and Christopher Sieber (Shrek the Musical) as a band of Broadway eccentrics who, hoping to reinvigorate their careers by latching onto a cause, storm a small Indiana town after a young high school girl is barred from taking her girlfriend to prom.
