Mean Girls celebrated one year on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre where it opened April 8, 2018. The musical adaptation of Tina Fey’s hit 2004 film features a book by Fey, a score by Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Nell Benjamin with direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw.

Mean Girls earned 12 2018 Tony Award nominations, including nods for Best Musical, three of its stars: Grey Henson, Ashley Park, and Taylor Louderman; and director-choreographer Nicholaw.

The current cast is led by Louderman as Regina George, Erika Henningsen as Cady Heron, Kate Rockwell as Karen Smith, Krystina Alabado as Gretchen, Barrett Wilbert Weed as Janis Sarkisian, Henson as Damian Hubbard, Kyle Selig as Aaron Samuels, Cheech Manohar as Kevin Gnapoor, Rick Younger as Mr. Duvall, and Jennifer Simard in the hat-trick track of Mrs. Heron, Ms. Norbury, and Mrs. George.
