The third West End cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child started performances at the Palace Theatre May 23; the previous company took their final bows May 20.

Jamie Ballard took over as Harry Potter, Susie Trayling as Ginny Potter, Joe Idris-Roberts as Albus, Jonathan Case as Scorpius Malfoy, and Franc Ashman as Hermione Granger.

Continuing in their roles are Thomas Aldridge as Ron Weasley, Helen Aluko as Rose Granger-Weasley, and James Howard as Draco Malfoy.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. The acclaimed production received its world premiere in June 2016 at the Palace Theatre in London. The Broadway production recently opened at the Lyric Theatre, and in early 2019 the Australian production will open at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre.
