Previews will begin in the Off-Broadway space November 1 with an official opening set for November 20.
Directed by Lila Neugebauer, the play was originally produced last year at The Duke on 42nd Street by The Playwrights Realm in association with New York Stage & Film and Vassar’s Powerhouse Theatre season. It subsequently returned to the Off-Broadway venue with additional support from commercial producers Scott Rudin and Eli Bush.
The cast for the upcoming LCT run includes original cast members Tedra Millan (Present Laughter), Sarah Mezzanotte (Six Degrees of Separation), Mia Barron, Brenna Coates, Jenna Dioguardi, Samia Finnerty, Midori Francis, Lizzy Jutila, and Susannah Perkins. Additional casting will be announced later.
The Wolves was a finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The production won an OBIE Ensemble Award—for Neugebauer and the acting ensemble—and a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble. The play received nominations for the the Lucille Lortel Award, the Drama League Award, and the Outer Critics' Circle Award.
