Broadway News Rodney Ingram Will Step into Broadway's The Phantom of the Opera The Aladdin alum joins James Barbour and Ali Ewoldt at the Majestic Theatre.

Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera will welcome a new Raoul this month. Rodney Ingram will step in as the vicomte beginning March 20. The production’s current Raoul, Phantom alum Kyle Barisich, will take his final bow on March 18 at the Majestic Theatre.

Ingram, a dual citizen of the U.S. and Mexico, made his Broadway debut in Aladdin, where he appeared in the ensemble and understudied the title role. His regional credits include Little Women at Theatre Aspen, The Little Mermaid at WPPAC, and Kiss Me, Kate at Gretna Theatre.

The current cast of The Phantom of the Opera includes James Barbour is the titular lair dweller, Ali Ewoldt as Christine Daaé, Laird Mackintosh as Monsieur André, Craig Bennett as Monsieur Firmin, Michele McConnell as Carlotta, Linda Balgord as Madame Giry, John Easterlin as Piangi, and Kara Klein as Meg Giry. Alternate Kaley Ann Voorhees takes on the role of Christine at select performances.
