Tony nominee Robert Fairchild and Olivier nominee Scarlett Strallen will star in BCC Proms’ Oklahoma! on August 11 at London's Royal Albert Hall.

BBC’s eight-week summer season of classical music concerts and events will present the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, conducted by John Wilson, for a two-performance engagement. The musical tells the story of rambunctious cowboy Curly and his courtship of the equally headstrong Laurey against the backdrop of the title territory.

Fairchild will play Will Parker in the performance. He recently concluded the West End production of An American in Pairs (in which he also made his Broadway debut, earning a Tony nomination). He can be seen in Brigadoon, beginning November 15 at New York City Center, alongside Kelli O'Hara and Patrick Wilson.

Joining Fairchild and Strallen in the cast are Nathaniel Hackmann as Curly, Belinda Lang as Aunt Eller, David Seadon-Young as Jud Fry, Lizzy Connoly as Ado Annie, and Marcus Brigstocke as Ali Hakim.
